Tile paint cracks on terracotta tiles

Hi I've painted the terracotta tiles on my window cill with ronsill one coat tile paint and it's dried with small leopard print cracks any advice would be great thanks

hi,ask yourself this ,did you prep terracotta before painting,was theweather ok,did you read tin about preparation of backgrounds.maybe a primer was needed.why dont you give area a light sand,clean off and try recoating see how it comes out.sometimes these products dont do what they say on the tin.maybe one coat not enough. anthony

It's cracked because one coat paints don't work you need to sand as muck of it off then pva bond it then two coats of masonary paint.d
