Which is the best boiler in terms of build quality? I really want a boiler that is going to last!
Are you a tradesperson and able to answer this question?

I’d choose a Viessmann boiler over either Vaillant or Worcester.

Worcester , valiant and ideal are all decent boilers offering up to ten years parts and labour warranty which always gives me the confidence to install these boilers

Worcester are one of the worst boilers on the market. Yes, they are great at marketing and inticing installers in with promotions, freebies and they have to install so many a year to keep these rewards.
However, the boilers are more difficult than any to service, as the heat exchanger is hard to get to. This means they don't get serviced properly.
They have aluminium heat exchangers meaning a water softener is not recommending on the system
A lot of parts are inaccessible without taking the boiler apart to get them. There are many sharp edges inside, and whilst this doesn't worry the customer, it shows a distinct lack of product design.
The boilers are full of plastic, meaning the plastic cracks and leaks a lot
There is no low pressure sensor meaning the boiler will fire with no water in it, which is no good for the heat exchanger.
The fans are renown for blowing if you turn the power off to the boiler, meaning you need a new fan.
Their customer service is good. Their selling tactics are phenomenal. The boiler's are awful.
The ideal vogue is good but Ideal will find any excuse to void a warranty, although they are getting better recently.
The Baxi 800 is a great boiler. Stainless steel heat exchanger, not aluminium.
Brass components, not plastic.
No sharp edges.
There is a low pressure switch, unlike Worcester.
All components are easily accessible inside.
The fan doesn't blow if you turn the power off.
The heat exchanger is easily accessible to clean on a service.
The entire ATAG range are brilliant also, but they don't sell to the public so you may find information hard to come by
