Rhino Key Safes Secure?

Anonymous user 09/03/2024 - 3.02 PM

We are looking for a secure key safe with a code for our Airbnb home in Kent. We saw some really good products on Amazon but they are very pricey too. Has anyone ever bought a Rhino key safe? It would be good to hear a feedback from a builders point of view.

Are you a tradesperson and able to answer this question?

Hi Ben, I would normally install a Master Lock, same concept has Rhino just slightly cheaper. Requires 4 fixings with raw plugs and screws (supplied) and changing the Lock code is very simple.

Hi tend to agree with the last answer it’s a classic case of you get what you pay for but on the other hand if someone wants to access the box they will . You can buy a master lock safe from screw fix for about £20 I hope this helps you with you answer.

I agree too but its a case of if someone wants to break in they will no matter how secure your key safe is or property, CCTV is the best burglar deterrent.

You can use any safe but I would not use screw's I'd use bolt's with a star head the can't be removed easy

You get what you pay for imo. Rhino locks are a little more expensive but how much do you value the security of your home?
