Hole in the fence base to let hedgehogs roam

I have a concrete base (gravel board) in my garden but want to add a hole to let local hedgehogs to roam free and visit garden, which instrument is used to make holes in gravel boards? Can i do it myself or shall i get a professional? Thanks

A core drill, diamond tipped. 110mm one should do it. You can hire them if you want to attempt it, but don’t use the hammer setting on the drill. You would need a drill with a slipping clutch on it. I have a set that I use to install extract fan exhausts.

There would be steel reinforcement running the length of the gravel board. I would use an angle grinder with a diamond blade, easy.

Hi for cutting conrete gravel boards you would need a angle grinder with a multi purpose blade for metal and concrete as they have steel rods inside or a hand saw for wooden boards Hope that is of some help many thank. Kier @ks services
