Size of electric plug screws

Anonymous user 09/03/2024 - 3.02 PM

Hello. I've been told to buy a new plug but I would still like to know the size of the tiny screws that are used inside a plug.

Are you a tradesperson and able to answer this question?

Funny Question! They are different I think depending on the manufacturer. I mean at they are only a few quid each so why not just buy a new one or even 2?

It is not worth looking for the new screws as a new plug is cheaper to fit.if you mix and match the plug connections you can have a connection that will not make correctly. It could be the cause of a fire due to arching because they would not be tight.
