Water gathering beneath bath panel plinth?

Hi. On at least three separate occasions in the past 4 months, I've had water gathering on the floor outside the back of the bath (directly opposite the tap end) after using the shower. After removing the back, smaller bath panel and running the shower, no water was coming from under the bath, no suggestion of a crack in the tub, no leaking pipes and no failed sealant. Initially thought this was from a radiator nearby as it had a slightly loose fitting but after securing it last week, water gathered again. It's caused some minor staining to the ceiling and wall directly below. I've since taken off the full side panel and back panel and noticed that the timber plinths (side and rear) are damp on the bottom. Presumably, gravity is allowing water the run down the side plinth, meeting the smaller plinth at the rear, then escapes outwards onto the bathroom floor. This isn't happening every time I shower, which is odd, but I can't seem to locate the problem. A bit of dampness towards the bottom aside, the inside and outside of the bath panel is dry, suggesting that that isn't necessarily failing and the shower screen stays in place while showering. Anyone got any advice for determining the cause here? I'm having difficulty in understanding how the water, presumably from the shower, is gathering under the bath panel plinths, running down towards the corner of the bath and then pooling/leaking outside the bath/panels on the floor? I've got photos if needed. **UPDATE** Previously tested for cracks and behind the taps. The odd thing is that water pools at the other end outside the bath tub. After some investigation, it turns out the shower screen that was screwed to the wall wasn’t on straight/flush, leaving gaps against the tiles where water gathers, falls behind the panel and runs along the plinth to the other end of the bath, unseen, before poking out on the floor. Quick test after sorting the screen fixing against the tiles/wall has shown that the shower screen seal isn’t fully effective either. Basically, while it’s the right width, when fitted under the screen glass, it still leaves a minor gap up against the part of the shower screen that’s against the wall. Hopeful that a new seal for the screen will sort it. Cheers for your help in meantime. I may well be back if this doesn’t work!!
