There are no specific regulations about where to site plug in appliances. Best to follow the manufacturers guidelines. I would say use your common sense in this instance! is it very hot in that area, then no. If it's 30 degrees or less I would say it will be ok.

You may also suffer from heat haze over the screen when log burner is on, seen this before, and removed wall mounted TV to another location for clients
But as stated contact manufacturer of TV and see what they say

First thing would be to check installation guidelines or contact manufacturers for advice on ambient temperature limits. Measure the temperature at the area the TV will be mounted with the log burner preheated and running at full capacity. If the measurements are within the manufacturers maximum heat range you should be OK.

While there are no wiring regulations concerning siting a TV above a log burner, regulations may impact how you want to supply power to the TV. For example if you want the supply cable buried in the wall it should be in 'safe zones', protected by an RCD etc.
Other than that manufacturer's instructions should always be followed and temperature is likely to be your main issue.

Hi if it' could get over 70°c then there's a chance the insulation could melt. I would use cable suitable for high temperatures
