How to get rid of weed in gravel walk next to driveway?

The best way to get rid of the weed in the gravel is to lay down a Membrane (weed control cover) under the gravel. This allows water to go down, but it stops the grass/weeds from growing up. You can use a strong weed killer, but it is essential to get rid of the weed roots before placing the membrane down.

Hi I don’t believe that using weed membrane is great it collects weed because 50% come from on top like bird poo and seeds in the air , so for me I would either dig out and concrete or continue the driveway

Don’t pull out any weeds and this doesn’t solve the problem as it leaves small roots still in the earth a good weed killer to slowly kill the weeds including roots then a good weed membrane to stop the coming through

It is a must to put membrane under the gravel to stop weeds coming through from underneath, only problem is if a seed gets blown onto the gravel & drops through the gravel the membrane gives it something to bed into & grow
