Depending on how bad it is I would recommend giving “The bath doctor” a call...I appreciate it’s not a bath but they can repair most things like that to a very high standard or at least advise wheather or not it’s cost effective.

Yes you can use the bath doctor if you wish, but you can buy a filler to get rid of the chip and a touch up enamel paint to match the basin, it should be cheaper than getting someone in to do it.

If you can, contact the manufacturer there are so called " repair kits " on the market but a manufacturer recommended repairer should be able to make a better job of it

I would contact the manufacturer, they generally have an approved list of repairers who will carry out a repair to their specification
