An electric shower which keeps tripping off the hot water
Anonymous user 23/02/2024 - 3.24 PM
I have an electric shower in a log cabin for my guests to use. Initially it worked really well, over the winter, but now the hot water trips off incessantly which I am assuming is due to low water pressure. The area I live in is busy in the holiday season so I assume water pressure drop is the problem. (we have an electric shower in the house which we only use when we know no taps are running elsewhere! ) Obviously I have to go and re set the shower power unit every time it trips which is hopeless for my guests. I would really appreciate some advise please. Thank you.

Hi , it Sounds like an earth fault , you will have to get an electrician out to test the circuit and the shower unit.
Kind regards

Hi. I would start with the Electrical side not the plumbing. Have an electrician test the is for earth an earth fault.

There also could be an internal fault in the shower itself ( heating element)
