Where to buy lawn turf

Is B&Q's turf good quality? Would you recommend better places to order it from? I have bought lawn turf previously that has died straight away and I don't want to waste my money. Thank you!

Hi. I use C and B coal in Waterfoot near Bacup. not sure where you are located but the turf has always been top quality and very reasonable.

B&Q turf is ok but unless your lucky & it’s freshly in when your in store you’d be better using a local turf supplier that lifts it the morning of the day your going to lay it - the price should be better too !

Always get a quality turf supplier it’s normally cut and delivered in two days and you can get different grades from field turf to a bowling green. You never know how long the turf has been sweating for at B & Q or where it’s from

We buy our turf from Town & Country turf who are based in West Grinstead, Bob & Andy are very accommodating. Paynes ate another alternative.
