Digital shower - yes or no?

Can more things go wrong with digital showers than non-digital ones? Are they hard to fix and maintain?

Digital showers can generally only be repaired by the manufacture, after warranty period this can be very expensive, thermostatic shower controls are cheaper to repair and any plumber should be able to sort it out.

As with anything in life the more complicated a product is the more expensive and difficult to fix further down the line, especially once your warranty has expired. If you were to purchase a digital shower but the best you can with the longest warranty.

Still amazed by clients that want all the latest gadgets eventho a normal simple bathroom does the same job. The more fancy a bathroom is the more expensive it be to fix. Keep it simple is my answer or pay for the privilege to fit and fix it
