Homebase vs B&Q kitchens

Run from both of them! Have a look at Wren kitchens or Howdens P.S don't get worktops from Howdens they are really bad quality at the moment

Hi I would recommend B & Q over Homebase purely for a wider stock availability and a better quality but in all fairness not a whole difference between the two products, would depend on the fitting of them that could make the difference Hope that helps out Martin

I'd say homebase is better than B&Q but personally i wouldn't use any of them. I'd go with IKEA. If you can get over the no service gap issue and you're on a budget, then i cant fault them!!

Both B&Q and Homebase tend to buy from their suppliers based on cost of product (so they can maximise their profit). If you go to an independent store you will get the benefit of the buying experience which goes towards a good quality long-lasting kitchen as an independent values their reputation. If you look at both B&Q and Homebases after-sales record it might be edifying in terms of the quality issue.
