is it possible that a neighbor steal water from my home sourced by a well that was drilled less than five years ago- these houses are 3o yo and my mother drilled the well before she passed- i live here alone- why do i ask if a neighbor can steal water using a flexible pipe plumbing or cross piping from outside - i dont know - i do know that i hear water running over time when it is friday night jacuzzi night for them and laundry day for them-my washing machine is all of a sudden broken/blocked as is my tub and hot water heater - THEN on vacation for them all of a sudden i dont hear water running loudly from my bathroom nor do i hear the well pump going over time just the usual schedule nothing -- the silence is so loud its shocking - the day they left too!!!! In addition when I arrived here i noticed that they had some excavation of soil near the pipestack to my well i guess in the front yard closest to their property- please advise

obtain the advice of a registered plumber,he can come and check it all for you,and prepare a report,if he confirms they have entered your property and connected to your well you will then need to seek legal advice.

If this is the case & they are stealing your water would be to to get a plumber round IMMEDIATELY & cap off the supply. Also tell the water co. What they did.
