Wet plaster drying to quick

Help/ advise just had a plaster in to replaster my bathroom. ceiling and walls that have been dobbed and dabbed are fine 2 other walls was taken back to the cement render start to crack and blister effect, plaster scraped the plaster off and told me the walls are sucking the water from the plaster to quickly, I coated the walls yesterday with pva and the plaster recoated the walls before plastering, have been advised to dob and dab the rest of the room

I would also use bondit. It's stops the background sucking the water out of the plaster . It's expensive to buy ranging from £30 to £60 for a tub. But worth it

Instead of using pva , it would of been better to use a gyproc bondit solution it stops this from happening

The answer needs to be explained a bit better some people may be tempted to water it down but I would recommend applying neat. also you can go over the render with a coat of bonding plaster then skim this will also slow the drying down.

I would recommend using thistle gypprime it is a primer specifically designed to control suction on dry backgrounds
