Rendering a wall.

Hi. Can I render my front brick wall outside my house mysekf or is it a tradesman job? The wall is in a poor state so I thought it may be the cheapest and easiest way to tidy it up. Had a quote for a new wall which was crazy so plan B.
Are you a tradesperson and able to answer this question?

Hi rendering is actually a pretty tricky job to do so certainly best left to someone with plenty of experience, especially if your wall is in a poor state, so quite posssibly needs a metal mesh mechanically fixing to the wall first , then scratch and top coat there after .
