Should most tilers be able to cut a mitred edge on porcelain?

Anonymous user 03/03/2024 - 3.22 PM

I have a 25 degree corner that I would prefer to have mitred than use a metallic edge. Should most tilers be able to do this, or is it a premium skill? The tiles are 300x900, 12mm thick either porcelain or ceramic, depending what I choose.

Are you a tradesperson and able to answer this question?

Not all type of materials accept mitred corners. 45º mitres to porcelain tiles shouldn't be a problem to be produced as long as it is done on the wet bench saw in order to keep the cut edge straight for the epoxy finish.
