Repair to Belling gas cooker

We have a Belling gas cooker ignition spark switch (plastic body) that needs replacing. Not sure if this is a DIY job or requires a qualified gas tradesman. Looks like the front control panel would need to be removed first to gain access to the switch assembly.

Any work on gas appliances must be done by a gas safe registered engineer or domestic appliance engineer who is gas safe registered.
