Fitting second-hand Bosch island cooker hood
Anonymous user 23/02/2024 - 3.23 PM
I am considering buying a second hand Bosch island cooker hood (DIB096850B/01) but have found out official parts are no longer available. The island cooker hood as it is would be too high above hob (98cm), and seems to need an air recirculation kit sold separately. Does anyone know whether it's possible to buy substitute extension or air recirculation kits? Or are these standardised and could I just buy them from any other reputatable cooker hood manufacturer?

No they are not standard, each manufacturer has its own set of measurements, you are referring to the cowling height (pillar) containing a recirclatory fan unit.
