If you’re seeing the F.24 fault code on the display panel of your Glow-Worm boiler, it usually means the rise in temperature logged when the heating is turned on is too fast. The heat generated by the boiler is not being released into the heating system quick enough and the boiler is about to, or thinks, its about to overheat. This could be caused by the boilers pump not operating correctly or starting to fail, a build up of sludge in your heating system causing restrictions in the pipework or it could be the sensor in the boiler that detects the temperature of the system giving an inacurate reading. The best cause of action would be to contact a local heating engineer to diagnose the problem for you.
