Old over flow pipe leak

Anonymous user 23/02/2024 - 3.22 PM

Hi I have recently had new heating installed with a new overflow pipe at front of house but have noticed the old overflow pipe out the backdoor leaking outside(not in use since new system fitted) is leaking water is this normal? Hi it is a combi boiler and new radiators replacing an old combi boiler but they ran the system through my kitchen and upstairs instead of through the bathroom upstairs which the old system was before. So I wouldn't think the pipe was in use anymore as the new pipe comes out the front of the house. It's just a drip but been going on for a week since the new heating has been installed. Thanks

It could be still connected to other things that have an overflow like a header tank or toilet cistern.
