Bay roof, guttering with wall damage
Anonymous user 03/03/2024 - 3.22 PM
We have a bay window roof and guttering needs replacing, the previous owner of the house had allowed a climbing plant to grow up the bay and it’s grown into the brickwork above it. Will a roofer be able to deal with that or do I need to find a builder that also does roofing? I’ve asked a couple of people to look at it, but they’ve never got back to me. At least if I know who I need I can look for the right person. Thanks for any help.
Are you a tradesperson and able to answer this question?

First of all the roots of the climbing plants need to be cut off. You will definitely need multi skilled tradesman to sort it up.

As a roofer if the plant can be removed without damage to the building there should be no problem in regards to a roofer doing this for you
