Soil pipe query

Anonymous user 09/03/2024 - 3.01 PM

I am wanting to add two bathrooms to the back of the house, the main sewer is to the side of the house, so will dig the kitchen floowr up and connect to the sewer as it exits the house. Inside want to run the soil pipe in the corner of the kitchen to the new bathroom above then vent the soil pipe outside and up the side of the house. I believe this is perfectly feasable and to regulations the next part is where I am struggling to find any information, I also want to put another barthroom on the first floor but the soil pipe would have to run external and then hook back into the soil pipe running up from the kitchen would this be allowed? so to break down: * internal soil pipe to first floor bathroom and soil pipe to external wall to vent outside * soil pipe running on outside wall and hooking back into the internal soil pipe just below the first floor bathroom The back of the house is the property boundary, so would be unable to run all soil pipes outside and then dig under the floor

yes this sounds ok as long as you have proper falls, and access bends on change of direction.
