Monoblocks look damp all the time.
Anonymous user 09/03/2024 - 3.01 PM
My newly laid mono blocks (1year old) look damp/wet all the time, it seems to hold moisture very well and make the driveway appear unsightly when it’s under 1 year old. What can cause this? Faulty bricks? (Not sure how to upload a picture)
Are you a tradesperson and able to answer this question?

Hi, your blocks will retain water for quite a long time after wet weather, one way to over come this is to wait until the warmer dryer weather to see if it dries out. If it does you may want to look at having the driveway re-sealed. This should only be done after perlonged dry weather as the blocks can go a creamy white colour.
