Windows that open inwards

Anonymous user 09/03/2024 - 3.01 PM

Hi. The windows in my property open inwards and are south facing. When I try to open windows wide to cool down rooms in hot weather they get obstructed by blinds/curtains. Can't take down blinds as I face carpark and I am on ground floor. I've never seen windows that open inwards except windows abroad. Theses windows are not practical, can anyone offer any solutions please? Can't think why these type of windows were put in a residential flat, has anyone put in windows like that in flats in UK? Can't cope as it's like living in a greenhouse especially in the summer time! Please advise Kathleen
