Black stuff oozing out of join in tap?

Hi There is black gradually oozing out of kitchen tap where the spout joins into the part where the levers for hot / cold etc are? Hope that makes sense - pity I cant add a photo. I clean it and the next day its back again. Any idea what this is?! Thanks so much for your help!

Sounds like the seal has gone or on its way out. There will be a way of taking the spout off and replacing it. Should be a grub screw at the back of it, if you remove it and pull the spout out you wol see the seal. Just replace it like for like and reassemble. Hope this helps

Maybe the seal but sounds like a part needing to be replaced in the boiler
