Hi, You can lay laminate flooring over existing floor tiles if they are level, and as long as the finished floor level matches within reason to the joining finished floor level. Most laminate is 7mm in thickness and underlay 3mm therfore 10mm added to floor thickness!

There is no reason why not but I would give you a few pointers. 1: Laminate naturally flexes so ensure that the tiled surface is really very flat as weight transfer over any high or low points could damage the locking system. 2: Use a high grade or non moisture absorbent laminate as any moisture could blow out the joints. 3: use an underlay! this protects the two materials from rubbing together and causing early damage as well as insulating the floor. Hope this helps.

laminate floor can be layed over floor tiles just use foil backed underlay and make sure the laminate is for wet rooms.
