Gas pipe in new extension
Anonymous user 03/03/2024 - 2.49 PM
Hi, I am considering having a single story extension build. Currently there is a gas pipe which runs along the wall, does this have to me moved so its outside of the new extension, or can it be left inside the room but boxed off. Are there any buildings regs for this. The gas pipe will have to moved by national grid, which means a huge cost. cheers M

With out viewing the plans, and the pipe we cannot guess! Contact a gas safe engineer and he will advise you fully! www.gassaferegister.co.uk follow instructions. No party should work on gas or box anything off without advice from qualified engineer!
