Apartment Door into private dwelling from hall/landing.

Please can you tell me if the door into my apartment has to be acoustic rated. It is a firedoor. FD 30 but it is not a solid door and not acoustic rated and therefore we are experiencing noise from the corridor and people can also hear us when we are on the hall telephone. I would have thought that a door into a private dwelling should have had an acoustic rating. I would appreciate your comments as I do not know the legal requirements.
