the tenants of my property have complained that it is freezing cold in spite of the central heating

BEING LEFT ON THROUGHOUT THE DAY & NIGHT ALL THE WINDOWS ARE DOUGLE GLAZED . THEY ASSUME THAT THE CAUSE OF THE PROBLEM MAY BE DUE TO INADEQUATE INSULATION. PLEASE LET ME HAVE YOUR VIEWS ON THE MATTER I OWN A THREE BEDROOM SEMI DETACHED HOUSE IN MY POSITION AS A LANDLORD I FAIL TO UNDERSTAND HOW THERE CAN BE A POSSIBLE LACK OF INSULATION
Are you a tradesperson and able to answer this question?

depends on the age of the house ,go into the loft and check ,if its cold and draughty up there then your question is answered

Most energy companies are now (2012) insulating lofts for free to fill a quota levied on them by the government, i dont know long this will last. Ring british gas and ask them about this, its very simple and takes 1 signature. They are desperate to do as many as possible within the time period, this would go someway to helping your house insulation and keep your all important tenants happy... (until the boiler breaks that is)...
