Can I install a second gas meter?

I understand OAMI's, and maybe other types of GasSafe folk can perform meter moves. Does the same apply to fitting a second gas meter, in the same line as the existing supplier-owned meter? I want a second meter for my own monitoring purposes (need a pulsed output). Does the supplier /transporter need to be told?

No one can perform gas meter moves other than the gas transporter/gas emergency service,and other licenced companies! and no one can do gas work down stream of the meter unless gas safe registered!
