Underfloor heating manifold Flow Rates

Anonymous user 03/03/2024 - 3.21 PM

We had underfloor heating installed at our fully refurbished new home to cover 85 sq meter area. It was a complete mess because our contractor used three different people (pipes+Manifold installed by different person, plumbed to boiler by different person and connected by different electrician) to complete the works. I don't think it's commissioned properly because manifold flow rates doesn't seem right and continuously requesting hot water from boiler. Can you suggest how we can set the correct flow rates for each zone without knowing the length of pipe used in the area? We are out of money and I can't afford another plumber or electrician to have a look.

Are you a tradesperson and able to answer this question?

You should have a manual from the UFH manufacturer, you would possibley have the flow rates in there for each zone. Failing that you could speak to manufacturer they may have your address on file and have the design layout. Therefore may be able to give you the information. Hope this helps .
