Problems after a power flush
Anonymous user 03/03/2024 - 3.21 PM
I had a new boiler & radiators fitted but not all the pipe work was replaced. My plumber recommended a power flush at £360 + vat. A month later my bedroom radiator stopped heating. I bled the system - there was a lot of air but that didn’t help. The plumber said some stuff the power wash didn’t clear must have blocked the radiator & so they disconnects it & used a compressor. He has charged me £144 for this & I don’t feel I should have to pay as I’ve already paid for the power flush & over £6k for all the work. He claims a power flush doesn’t always get rid of everything but never told me before it was done.
Are you a tradesperson and able to answer this question?

The power flush doesn’t Remove 100% but it does clear majority of the sludge the plumber that you have used should have come around and yourself and the plumber should have come to an agreement as you have paid for a new heating system and a power flush to clear the blockage free of charge or if not a very small charge
