Older council house has downstairs , toilet be added to upstairs existing bathroom

I think the soil pipe is on the front of the house and as we are end a end terrace the existing upstairs bathroom faces the back garden. So would we have to run the waste pipe around the house to reach it? Thank you

a more permanent job especially that you are end terrace is to trench and put it a new soil pipe from back connecting in to existing soil pipe at front, with new inspection chambers, its more cost but a better job and not unsightly.
