How many packs will I need if I got 10ft by 18ft room please

There is no definitive answer to that question because you need to work out the square footage/square metres and look for laminates you like and they will tell you how many square metres there are per pack so you can work out how many packs add to your measurements. Always add about 10% for damaged boards/mistakes.

You will need 16.7m2 but as the above answer states, each pack varies in m2. e.g the laminate you have chosen has 1.99m2 per pack so you would first (allowing the 10% for wastage) do 16.7 x 10% giving you 18.3m2. Then you would do 18.3 divided by the pack size giving you 9.23 packs. So round this up to 10 packs so you have enough for the job. Hope this helps.
