Moving water supply and waste for kitchen appliances
Anonymous user 09/03/2024 - 3.00 PM
I am looking at moving our old kitchen into our living room and vice verses, but our water waste drainage is at the rear and down the side of our house, there would be about a 6ft between where the water waste would come from out to the main waste drain but the floor we would need to place the pipes under is solid concrete would this been possible.
Are you a tradesperson and able to answer this question?

It is very much possible to lay pipes under a concrete floor, a builder would need to cut a channel for the pipes then buid a wooden box over the pipes and concrete back over them. This is a pretty simple job with a medium/large sized breaker or floor saw and somebody competent in using one.
Make sure there are no joints underneath the concrete and it is one stretch of pipe.
