What if the fence falls down?

We have a planned extension on our land and have given notice that we intend to build in two weeks one week before we plan to start digging the neighbours have erected a fence right up to the boundary. My built is all on my land there fence it seems all on there’s how ever I’m pretty sure it will fall down when we dig our trench. 1 can this stop us ( there is no party wall matter we have checked) 2 if it does fall in what legal action can they take. 3 if it does fall in I will happily put it back is that enough?

I would talk to your neighbor and explain the situation, if you rectify any damage to the fence there should be no problem

Just talk to your neighbor and explain when u seen them erecting the fence was the time to have a chat I’m sure they will be fine about it a good machine driver would get over it👍
