Shower mixer, double shower, one hot, the other Luke warm

Anonymous user 15/03/2024 - 2.45 PM

Have a thermostatic shower mixer/bar mixer or what ever they are called. For some reason the water is not as hot on the fixed larger shower head then small hand held one. Any advice Thanks

do you have a combi boiler ?,the larger head has a greater flow, the small hand held has a smaller flow and this allows the water more time to heat as it passes through the hot water heat exchanger.

Sounds like you either have unbalanced system.. Does the water pressure from the FIXED shower outlet as equal to the hand held?. Or the FIXED head in the shower needs to be dismantled slightly and cleared of any obstruction.. Sounds like a good gravity shower system with a little unbalanced issues ... Good luck pd
