Do I need a new flush mechanism for the WC?

Anonymous user 23/02/2024 - 3.21 PM

The tank in the toilet only fills half way up...its just not enough for a decent "all-gone" flush (especially when elderly relatives with weird digestion issues come for a visit) I had a look online and there's a youtube video called "How to Adjust the Flush Water Level on a Modern Toilet System" which is the exact same system as mine but the plumber installed it at a 90 degree angle compared to the video so i cant access the "switch" at the back! Probably a simple enough job, what do you think it would cost to either adjust this or install a new flush, and what would be an upgrade from the current one?

Are you a tradesperson and able to answer this question?
