Suggestions for banging pipes when washing machine is filling and when tap is first turned on

We bought a Samsung washing machine(located in my kitchen) a while ago and ever time it takes in water the pipes bang loudly all throughout the house. It has got progressively worse in time. Now I have noticed that the kitchen tap is now doing the same thing. When doing an early washing machine load, it wakes up the whole household its so loud. Any suggestions please?

water hammer,pipes not clipped,pressure to high,check your pipework make sure it is properly clipped.

stop cock in water tank ?

Possibly faulty ball valve in loft (if you have a header tank) or a tap gland is passing and needs replacing
