Washing machine in service cupboard in purpose built flat?

I want to move my washing machine from my kitchen into the small service cupboard in my 1 bed second floor flat. The cupboard contains the gas meter and all water pipes runninng down the wall into the raised floor. The cupboard is joined to the bathroom and contains the waste and all pipes from the bathroom. Is there anything preventing me from putting a top loading washing machine in here ? Chloe

Hi Chloe I would not really advise this because it’s all ways best to have a separate wastes for a washing machine because of mixing in with the bathroom you will get the smell and wastes water coming up you bathroom ie bath sink or shower so best not to do this thanks Darren at D&R Refurbishments
