Loosing pressure and found the exhaust full of water ?

Anonymous user 09/03/2024 - 2.59 PM

Hi, The pressure in my boiler keeps dropping down to zero everyday. I checked the versil and found it low and pumped it back up to 1 bar and checked later and found ok. So carried on looking for leaks and found the drain for the condensation kept filling up and draining every 5 minutes. I took off an inspection panel on the exhaust and I can see it dripping water from the large silver box at the back of the boiler. Can this be replaced? My boiler is a ideal logic. Thanks for your advice, but the pressure reg is fine. The dripping is coming from my heater exchange unit. Must be cracked somewhere inside. I have found a used part on eBay at £160. Hope that fixes it :)
