Shower Waste water drains slowly

Anonymous user 09/03/2024 - 2.59 PM

Had new shower installed old drainage used, just new elbow added. After a few weeks water draining slowly, low level tray. Told to use plunger, drained better. Now it fills halfway up tray, stays at that level, then at some point during shower, suddenly drains away quickly. Why is this and what can I do to get it drain quick all the time? Thanks

This would more then likely be a partial blockage or the waste pipe used was to small to cope with the amount of water being used. Would recommend removing the rodding eye and clearing any blockages
