Hissing noise coming from the bleed/air vent valve

Anonymous user 28/02/2024 - 3.41 PM

I have a new combi boiler and the radiators are working fine. The noise is only coming from air vent valve on two of the radiators and it starts when the room temperature gets hotter than 19 degrees Celsius. Do the radiators need bleeding or is it the valves that need replacing?

This is more than likely circulation of air it would be best to bleed the radiators first and see if this resolved the issue, this is something you could do yourself very easily. With a bleed key turn anti clockwise to release the air once the water starts coming out turn the bleed key clockwise to close again.
