Company refuse to hand back keys

Hi, I'm in a dilemma and hope someone can help. Had a refurbishment with new flooring, painting etc. Told flooring company we were not happy with. Squeaky floors and vinyl on top of old vinyl with poor finish. No glue was used on vinyl and end cut was poor and they agreed it was poor finish. A week later, no sign of flooring people returning to fix the job. Cleaners were due to come and clean after painters finished. Another week gone past and nothing. So I want them to return my house keys but he said I have not finished paying him. I have paid everything except £200 for a square of vinyl for the bathroom floor and £50 for cleaners that have not appeared. What are my rights on this? I can't wait forever for them to get back to me. What can I do? Any advice would be helpful. Thanks in advance. I forgot to add that the jobs should have been completed 19th November 2018.

insist they put every thing right to your satisfaction,tell them they have 2 weeks to put it right,or you will go to small claims court,put it in writing send it registered post,tell them they have 24 hours to return your keys or you will get the police involved,or change your locks.

If your not happy with the finish u need to put it in writing to them still wrong they haven't handed the keys back your paying for the job end of day it’s your Opinion that’s counts
