Can't locate how to repressurise Worcester boiler
Anonymous user 03/03/2024 - 3.20 PM
We have just moved into a new (old) house , it has a Worcester greenstar boiler and a hot water tank. I noticed that the pressure on the boiler is below where it should be but I can't find where to let water into the system. I've checked Worcester's YouTube channel to see the 3 possible ways that you should be able to do this....option one is to take the bottom cover off, and use the key that's stored under that, the key isn't there but there also doesn't look like what I'd need to put it in. Option 2 is a blue lever underneath that you pull to let water in, but there isn't any blue levers. Option 3 is that there would be a hose on the cold water copper pipe that you connect to another part and then open the 2 isolator valves, there is nothing of this description. I've checked under the boiler, had the washing machine out to check behind there, the copper pipes then go into the housing for the hot water tank. Any help would be appreciated.8
