Windows & Door fitting

The large pvc windows in our rented house open inwards and are unlockable. Our toddler is now at the age where she can reach them. Is this legal or should we get onto our landlord about it?

hi,you can fit an extra lock called a sash jamber,if its fitted out of reach of your toddler it will give you piece of mind.hope this helps

I don't think it's illegal,but you could get in touch with your landlord to see if he could sort out some latches to be fitted to the windows,so they only open a little bit.
