Tankless water heater

I want to replace my half tank with immersion for a tankless water heater. Can it be fitted in place of the original tank to serve the kitchen and bathroom taps? Thank you.

Yes don’t see a problem just check dimensions ,could be a problem if you had a shower in future but then you would then consider a a pump for shower

yes depending on size of unit and available space,as most tankless water heaters are mains fed you will not be able to fit a shower pump on out going hot water service,it is against water board regs and pump makers specs.
