What fittings to use for porch bracket?

Anonymous user 23/02/2024 - 3.20 PM

Hi, I'm currently looking into replacing some awful decorative side panels under porch for some brackets. As I don't know if these side panels are load bearing, I want the brackets to load bear no matter what. What would be the best fittings to use to install them?

Are you a tradesperson and able to answer this question?

As above a good joiner can make these up for you although i would talk to a structural engineer and get them to design them up for you. the structural engineer should specify how they need fixing, but generally the use of thunderbolts or sleeved anchors suffice.
