Hi Please can i get some advice on the above. The house was built in 2008 and is an ex shared ownership house. It has a downstairs toilet between the lounge and kitchen. Could i knock this through to create a larger kitchen? Many thanks

hi yes, you can but the walls(s) can be load bearing, that why an architect or structural engineer should visit your property and decide/advise the removal procedure. best regards Danny

The answer is more likely yes you may need a structural engineer to visit and do calculations and will probe need a building notice from your local council.
